Contribution Guidelines for

Department of English Publication

Ongoing submissions

The journal will publish high-quality research articles and creative writing:

  • Research papers: emphasize solid work in the sense of both theories and experiments. It must be self-contained and easy to follow. The paper must provide enough detail so that the proposed technique can easily be replicated.

  • Application papers: emphasize the systematic application of theories and strategies in teaching. The paper must provide enough details so that the reader can easily follow and re-implement the techniques in their respective areas. It must clearly demonstrate a successful application of theories and strategies in teaching and reflection.

  • Review papers: classify or categorize the existing work (books, articles, websites, and computer programs) and point out possible future research and application directions. Thus, the reviewers must have a deep insight into the relative techniques being reviewed and have particular arguments in the sense of discipline development.

  • Creative Writing: all types of original creative writing will be accepted for review including short stories, poems, monologues, cartoons (images will be printed in black and white and must be accompanied with a disclaimer to avoid copyright infringements), others.

Please use Microsoft Word to produce your papers. In general, the research, application, and review papers should be typed using 12pt Arial font and double-spacing. References should use APA formatting. The papers will have a limit of 5 pages in the final publication. Please include your full name, email address, institution where you work, academic degree information, and a short author’s biography.

All submissions must be sent to uprag.english.publication@gmail.com
